TRAINING POLICIES
Enrollment, Attendance, and Training Policies
These policies describe how enrollment, cancellations, attendance, and on-site training work at Eight Point Solutions. They are provided for general guidance and do not replace the specific terms presented at booking or the waiver and release materials signed on-site.
01Enrollment & Registration
Courses are booked online from each course's page. No portal account or login is required, bookings are completed as a guest using your name, email address, and phone number. After selecting an available session, checkout is completed securely through Stripe Checkout. Your seat is reserved for your booking, and a confirmation email is sent to the address you provide shortly after payment is completed. If checkout is not completed, you are not charged and no seat is reserved.
Seat availability is limited and shown at checkout, sessions may sell out. Optional add-ons and discount codes, where offered for a course, are applied to your total before payment.
02Cancellations & Refunds
To cancel or reschedule a booking, contact Eight Point Solutions directly by phone or email as soon as possible. Refunds, where granted, are issued to the original payment method through Stripe.
Placeholder: Eight Point Solutions should confirm the specific refund window, any applicable fees, and whether credit toward a future session is offered, before this section is treated as final.
03Attendance & No-Shows
Certification courses are structured to meet Maryland's required minimum instructional hours. Arriving late, leaving early, or missing any portion of required in-person instruction may affect your eligibility for certification and may require rescheduling into a future session.
Placeholder: Confirm whether a no-show or late-cancellation fee applies.
04Eligibility Requirements
General enrollment in most courses is open to adults. Some courses, including firearms-related training such as Maryland Wear & Carry and Pistol Fundamentals, carry additional state and federal legal eligibility requirements, for example minimum age and legal eligibility to possess a firearm. These requirements are confirmed during registration and, where applicable, verified again on-site before training begins.
Contact us before booking if you are unsure whether you meet a course's eligibility requirements.
05Waivers & Liability
Participants in on-site training, particularly range-based or physical-skills courses, are required to review and sign a liability waiver and release form on-site before training begins.
This page is a summary only: it is not the waiver itself, does not constitute a binding release of liability, and is not a substitute for legal review. Eight Point Solutions should have final waiver and release language reviewed and approved by legal counsel.
06Photo & Video Release
Training sessions may be photographed or recorded on video for marketing, training-quality, or safety-review purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, notify your instructor before your session begins.
